Temporary (60-day contract)
Job Summary
Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring an experienced Payment Coordinator in Galveston! If you have experience with financial banking operations, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and resolving disputes related to share drafts.
- Processing wires
- Handling liens, levies, subpoenas and reclamations according to the credit union procedures
- Perform account verifications
- Preparing monthly reconciliation reports and assist with shared branching reports and adjustments
- Processing accounts payables and receivables
- Assist with other necessary tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial operations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of wire processing and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Minimum of a High School diploma or similar educational background

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
