Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Painter for a well-established manufacturing company located in Manor,Texas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing surfaces.The ideal candidate will have hands-on painting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

As a Painter, you’ll be responsible for:

• Prepping surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking before painting
   

• Applying primers, paints, and coatings to metal, wood, and drywall surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
   

• Mixing and matching paint colors to meet project specifications
   

• Inspecting surfaces and performing touch-ups or rework as needed
   

• Following paint application techniques to ensure smooth, even finishes
   

• Maintaining painting tools, spray equipment, and work areas in good condition
   

• Following all company safety policies and OSHA standards when handling paints and chemicals
   

• Performing other related duties as assigned
   

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of painting experience (industrial, residential, or commercial)
   

• Experience with spray painting and finishing techniques strongly preferred
   

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality finishes
   

• Knowledge of paint types, mixing methods, and surface preparation
   

• Ability to read and follow work orders and shop drawings
   

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
   

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Hourly pay range: $17–$20/hour, based on experience
   

• Steady Monday–Friday schedule: 7:00 am – 3:45 pm OR 7:00 am – 5:45 pm (with overtime as needed)
