Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Packaging and Shipping associate in Braselton, GA. In this dynamic and high-energy role, you will be responsible for performing an array of warehouse functions and supporting specialized distribution processes. Shift: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Pay rate: $17

In a Packaging and Shipping Technician job you’ll be responsible for:

• Performing an array of functions that includes picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or organizing and retrieving stock.

• Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling products, packing boxes, shrink wrapping, and placing orders in the delivery area.

• Handling small to large machines carefully, including double bagging, packing with foam, sealing, labeling, and palletizing or crating.

• Producing crates, utilizing customer-specific stencils for painting, and sorting materials on racks.

• Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts via a computer.

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment by sweeping, dusting, and keeping workstations neat.

What you’ll need:

• 1–2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Good communication, organizational, time management, and high-energy traits.

• The ability to read a tape measure, follow precise instructions, and process simple math.

• The physical ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop, crouch, and lift objects weighing 10–50 lbs.
