Pay: $20.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Openwork is hiring an experienced Packaging Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Houston. This is a great opportunity for individuals with packaging and forklift experience who enjoy working in a structured, fast-paced environment with long-term career potential.

Responsibilities

• Verify pallets and products are properly labeled and traceable

• Package finished products accurately according to company standards

• Confirm counts, measurements, and product specifications

• Operate forklifts safely to move and stage materials

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing area

• Follow all PPE, safety, and ISO procedures

• Support production and shipping needs as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience required

• Strong forklift operating skills (testing required during interview)

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Safety & Work Environment Requirements

This facility works with lead material and follows strict safety protocols. Employees must be able to:

• Wear a half-mask respirator during work hours

• Shower daily following shifts

• Participate in blood testing every 6 months

• Follow all company operating procedures and safety guidelines

The facility is climate controlled and equipped with spot coolers to support employee comfort.
