Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a fast paced Packaging Operator in La Porte, TX. In this reliable and hardworking role, you will be responsible for providing support daily operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role involves packaging, repackaging, palletizing materials, and assisting with general labor tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

  In a Packaging Operator job, you’ll be responsible for: 

• Assemble boxes, label, stack, and palletize materials

• Perform packaging and repackaging tasks

• Operate packaging and transfer equipment

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Support general labor tasks as needed

• Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

• Ability to lift 55 lbs (frequently up to 100 lbs)

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed

Additional Information: 

Pay: $17/hour

Schedule: Rotational shifts

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
