Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Meador Staffing, an Openwork company, is seeking dependable Packaging Machine Operators for an industrial plastics facility in Baytown, TX.

This is not a traditional packing or box-packing position. Employees operate industrial equipment that fills large bags with plastic pellets transferred from silos and production lines. The position requires previous manufacturing, production, machine-operating, or industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial packaging equipment

• Fill large bags and containers with plastic pellets

• Set up packaging materials and prepare equipment for production

• Monitor product flow and make basic equipment adjustments

• Weigh, seal, label, and inspect completed bags

• Stack and palletize finished products

• Repackage materials when required

• Check products for proper weight, quality, and packaging

• Maintain accurate production and packaging records

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards

• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

• Assist with general labor and other production duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine-operating, or industrial experience preferred

• Comfortable operating and working around industrial machinery

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical work throughout a 12-hour shift

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment

• Able to work both indoors and outdoors as required

• Basic math, reading, and documentation skills

• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
