Openwork is currently sourcing an experienced Packaging Supervisor for a valued client. This position is ideal for candidates with Form, Fill, Seal (FFS) machine experience and leadership experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment. Training will begin at a separate facility before transitioning to the new location.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily packaging operations and production staff.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of FFS packaging equipment.
- Monitor production schedules, packaging quality, and department KPIs.
- Train and support team members while maintaining productivity.
- Complete and verify production documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with operations to meet production goals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience operating or supervising FFS packaging machines.
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Location: Baytown, TX
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay: $22.00/hour
