In a Strategic Account Manager job you’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning and growing assigned strategic accounts within industrial outside sales

  • Developing and executing long-term account plans aligned with customer operational needs

  • Serving as the primary commercial contact for key industrial customers

  • Coordinating with design, service, and operations teams to ensure accurate scope and clean handoffs

  • Supporting repeat programs, plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and expansions

  • Protecting margins while delivering dependable industrial heating and instrumentation solutions

  • Maintaining consistent communication to strengthen trust and customer retention

  • Growing referrals and expanding share of wallet within existing accounts

What you’ll need:

  • 3–20+ years of experience in industrial outside sales

  • Experience selling into at least one of the following industries:

    • Chemical plants

    • EPC firms

    • Oil & gas skid fabrication

    • Power generation facilities

    • Industrial OEMs

  • Existing relationships within chemical, EPC, power generation, or oil & gas markets

  • Proven success exceeding sales targets and managing long, complex sales cycles

  • Strong listening skills with technical curiosity

  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and multiple stakeholders
