Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find organized Optical Sorting Operator. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be able to work independent, efficient, fast and accurate.
Prepare packaging: assembling boxes and lids, stapling, labeling, palletizing, stacking, and cleaning.
Perform various tasks associated with the packaging or repacking of material.
Operate packaging and transfer equipment according to Visual Operating Procedures (equipment manual, instructions and info from the supervisor.
Adhere to all Packaging Procedures that are requires for your assigned task
Be on time and ready to work at the start of the shift and insure his shift (crew) is started promptly.
Assist, train and advise fellow workers when required.
Complete paperwork and coordinate with Packaging Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow all Safety Procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual and OSHA regulations.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Have a high standard for quality.
Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55 lbs (frequently up to 100 lbs).
Work environment: in- and outdoor (extreme weather conditions).
Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
Perform various tasks in assistance or support of the organization including but not limited to General labor.
Work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays. According to the needs of the business.
