In this role, you will be responsible for performing quality checks on eyewear and ensuring accuracy and precision throughout the fitting process. In an Optical Lab Technician Fitter job, you’ll be responsible for:
Reading RX tickets and learning the work tray layout.
Using proper techniques to mount jobs and understanding shadow jobs.
Identifying lens materials and verifying lens shapes and bevels.
Identifying lens types and detecting lens issues.
Performing 4-point alignment and verifying segment height and bifocal alignment.
Auditing frames and performing proper lens cleaning techniques using appropriate tools.
Understanding breakage codes and knowing when to apply them.
Scanning jobs accurately and completing the full mounter checklist.
What you’ll need:
Strong hand dexterity and ability to use small tools.
Ability to sit for the duration of the shift.
Good attendance and reliability.
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Weekday schedule (Monday – Thursday).
First shift hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week).
