Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager in Jackson,GA. In an Operations Manager job you’ll be responsible for:

? Managing site operations in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner
? Driving performance against volume, cost, and quality targets
? Implementing plant safety programs, audits, and OSHA-compliant training
? Overseeing staffing, labor relations, and development of supervisors and frontline employees
? Using operational metrics to identify trends, improve efficiency, and maximize profitability
? Communicating site performance and operational risks to division leadership
? Managing and adhering to the annual operating budget
? Ensuring standardized work practices including job safety analyses, lock out/tag out, housekeeping, quality checks, and fire/safety procedures
? Overseeing maintenance work orders and partnering with regional leadership to ensure operational alignment
? Providing operational support Monday–Friday and on-call as needed

What you’ll need:

? Minimum of three years of manufacturing leadership experience
? Proven strong safety performance (low TRIR and LTIR)
? Experience managing a plant or process operation preferred
? Strong understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations
? Financial acumen and budget management experience
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for production tracking and reporting
? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
? Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort working on the plant floor
? Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
? Ability to foster teamwork and deliver results through people
? Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

? Ability to stand and move for extended periods
? Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently
? Ability to work in varying temperatures, around moving mechanical parts, and in environments with moderate to loud noise levels
