Openwork is currently seeking a detail-oriented OHS Technician in Pasadena, TX! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently follow safety and testing procedures.
Job Duties
- Administer respirator fit testing in compliance with CFR 1910.134 Respiratory Protection Standards.
- Conduct male drug screens and maintain confidentiality of all customer information.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respirator fit-testing equipment.
- Complete required testing documentation and ensure all information is accurate and properly recorded.
- Inspect and disinfect respirators after each test.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional testing environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and respond to questions or concerns.
- Follow all safety and hygiene procedures and assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable conducting male drug screens.
- Must be able to provide black, white, or gray scrubs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with the public and independently.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
- Willingness to cross-train and assist other departments.
Additional Information
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $14/hour
Location: Pasadena, TX
