What This Role Means

As a Nutritionist, you’re not just providing counseling—you're shaping long-term wellness. You’ll help parents understand their child’s nutrition needs, guide families through important health decisions, and ensure every client feels supported, informed, and uplifted. Your work creates ripples of impact that extend far beyond the clinic walls.

What You’ll Do

• Be a welcoming, trusted resource for clients, creating a supportive and culturally sensitive environment

• Evaluate eligibility using health, income, and residency standards

• Lead both individual and group counseling sessions, translating nutritional science into real-life action steps

• Recommend personalized food packages, including specialized formulas for infants and clients with unique needs

• Track developmental progress by monitoring growth charts, anthropometrics, and iron status

• Document with precision, maintaining thorough, confidential client records

• Collaborate on quality assurance efforts to keep services compliant and high-performing

• Engage in outreach, increasing community awareness and fostering positive relationships

• Support clinic flow, partnering with clerks, lactation consultants, and other team members to deliver seamless care

• Champion health equity, ensuring all families—regardless of background—have access to nutrition education and resources

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field

• 24+ credit hours in Food & Nutrition coursework

• A compassionate, client-centered approach to communication

• Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through

• The ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

• Dedication to serving diverse populations with empathy and respect

• Comfort performing light physical activity (bending, lifting, extended sitting)

• A genuine desire to make a meaningful difference—every day

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• 3rd Saturday each month: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Pay: $30/hour | Weekly Pay
