Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Machine Assistant in Lawrenceville, Ga. In this fast-paced and team-oriented role, you will be responsible for supporting daily production operations in a plastic bag manufacturing facility. From handling finished products and supplying materials to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, you will play an important role in keeping production running smoothly. In a Machine Assistant job you’ll be responsible for:

• Removing finished plastic bags and products from the production line.
• Packing, stacking, and organizing finished products for the next stage of production.
• Supplying production machines and work areas with necessary raw materials.
• Assisting machine operators with daily production needs.
• Keeping production areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Cleaning machines and equipment as needed.
• Monitoring production areas and notifying machine operators of any issues.
• Following all safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Performing other general production duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move materials and finished products as required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required.

Shift & Pay: 

• Continental Shift 6pm-6am 
• $16.50/hr.
