Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Material Handler/ Sit-Down Forklift Operator job in Williamston, SC. As a Material Handler/ Sit-Down Forklift Operator you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials off trucks and to production lines. Assist shipping and receiving departments as needed.

Responsibilities for this Material Handler/ Sit-Down Forklift Operator job include:

- Load and unload trucks
- Deliver materials to production lines to ensure they keep running smoothly and efficiently
- Makes sure product is documented and labeled correctly
-Operates forklift in safe manner and makes do daily routine checks to make sure it is operating correctly
- Inspects incoming shipments for damage

Qualifications:

- Mechanical ability
- Forklift license and certifications
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 35lbs
- Basic math, reading and writing skills

Hours/Work Schedule: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Mon-Friday
Pay: $17-18/hr and up depending on experience
