Material Handler
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $16.50–$17.00/hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:45 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Openwork is hiring a Material Handler for a leading electrical supply manufacturer in Houston! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and organize materials.
- Pick and deliver materials to production workstations.
- Maintain inventory using scanners and computer systems.
- Load and unload materials, including forklift operation.
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required, including inventory, shipping/receiving, and forklift operation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
