Forklift Operator / Material Handler
Location: Lexington, NC
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Openwork is currently hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a growing manufacturing and distribution facility in Lexington, NC. We are looking for dependable individuals with forklift experience who can safely move materials, support warehouse operations, and assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.

Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Stage materials for production and shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory locations
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities
- Perform material handling duties as needed
- Conduct routine equipment inspections
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials
- Experience with shipping, receiving, or inventory is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and material handling duties
- Must be able to work safely around moving equipment and machinery
