Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Material Handler in Lawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling orders throughout the warehouse as well as updating the system while pulling and placing orders. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below!

In a Material Handler job, you’ll be responsible for:

• Accurately picking dry and frozen orders using formatted pick sheets and associated labels.
• Safely operating a forklift and/or motorized pallet jack.
• Communicating with Supervisors regarding out-of-stock items or incorrect bin locations.
• Receiving and stocking products while handling all items with care to prevent damage.
• Ensuring OSHA and company safety guidelines and techniques are used in all daily work.
• Maintaining acceptable levels of cleanliness throughout the warehouse.

What you’ll need:

• 1 year of warehouse experience and 1 year of forklift/motorized pallet jack experience preferred.

• Physical ability to handle products weighing 25-50 pounds and perform frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.

• Adequate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and the ability to read pick sheets.

Schedule & Pay:

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (overtime when necessary).

   

• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.
