Maintenance Worker

Location: Northeast Houston, TX
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour (based on experience) | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Openwork is actively hiring a dependable Maintenance Worker to support a fast-paced industrial facility. This role is essential in keeping the work environment clean, safe, and organized to support daily operations.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain floors, work areas, and equipment
• Sanitize production and shared spaces
• Remove trash and keep disposal areas organized
• Assist with light maintenance tasks, including painting and general upkeep
• Support outdoor cleanup and facility organization
• Follow all safety procedures while working around equipment

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience
• Comfortable working in an industrial or warehouse environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
