Meador an Openwork company is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Maintenance Technician their Texas City location. In this hands-on and fast-paced role you will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment for smooth daily operations. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In the Maintenance Tech job, you’ll be responsible for:
To perform the necessary tasks required to diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical components plumbing and various Carpentry tasks as needed.
Critical thinking and planning skills.
Extensive troubleshooting and repair experience.
Safety conscious team player, leader, and collaborator.
Must manage time and work as a team to meet deadlines.
Performs inspection and repairs of all company equipment.
Performs inspections and repairs of overhead cranes.
Performs inspections and repairs for all the hand and power tools as needed.
Makes repairs to hydro blast pumps, air compressors and the furnace.
Handles 55-gal oil drums.
Repairs utility lines in shop duties.
Responsible for the hookup and breakdown of equipment using proper tools and procedure.
What you’ll need:
Minimum 2 to 3 years of Maintenance experience in an industrial setting. No residential.
Must be able to work overtime hours as needed and shift scheduled when needed. Flexible schedule required!
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Perks: Monday-Friday 4:00 AM – 3:30 PM $23-$24/ hour depending on experience
