Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a Maintenance Technician in Texas City. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical components plumbing and various Carpentry tasks as needed. Extensive troubleshooting and repair experience. Essential Job Functions:
- Must be able to comprehend instructions from supervisors and/or coworkers.
- Perform inspection and repairs of all company equipment.
- Perform inspections and repairs of overhead cranes, hand and power tools as needed.
- Make repairs to hydro blast pumps, air compressors and furnace.
- Handle 55-gal oil drums.
- Repair utility lines in shop duties.
- Wear PPE prescribed by posted signs, written instructions, and specified by the supervisor.
- Responsible for the hookup and breakdown of equipment using proper tools and procedure.
- Operate vehicles, industrial cleaning equipment or power tools in accordance with established company rules and work orders.
What you’ll need:
- Must have 2 to 3 years plumbing / maintenance experience.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs., kneeling, twisting, overhead reaching, climbing, gripping with the hands, pushing, and pulling, walk and stand for long periods of time, repetitive motion.
- Must be able to work, when necessary, the two nights, plus reasonable overtime on the graveyard shift and/or weekends.
Schedule: Mon - Fri; 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $23 - $26 Hour
