Openwork is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local partner in Salisbury, NC!

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support and maintain industrial fabrication equipment, including press brakes, shears, and other machinery used in wood and metalworking operations.

Pay Rate

• Based on experience

• Starting at $20/hr for less experienced candidates

• Up to $25/hr or higher for highly skilled or experienced candidates

Schedule

• The facility operates 7 days a week, 6 AM–6 PM

• Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

• Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required to resolve equipment issues

• Weekend call-ins may occur, but changes are being made to reduce the frequency

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial fabrication equipment

• Work with machinery such as press brakes, shears, and various wood/metalworking equipment

• Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently

• Respond to calls when needed and stay after normal hours if issues arise
