Maintenance Technician – $25/hr to Start

Openwork is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Griffin, GA. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical experience who is ready to grow with the company.

Position Details:

• Pay: $25/hour to start, with an increase upon permanent hire

• Schedule:

• Initial training on first shift with the current technician and department supervisor (typically 2–3 months)

• After training, transition to second shift (flexible hours, e.g., 4 PM – 12 AM or 6 PM – 2 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery

• Work with electrical systems, including pulling conduit and troubleshooting motor issues

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment operates efficiently

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience required

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and mechanical repair

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using a variety of tools

• Must submit to a drug screen and background check

• Steel-toed boots required
