Maintenance Technician ā Industrial Manufacturing Location: Deer Park Job Type: Temp-hire Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:30- 12:00am Pay: $25/hr. About the Role We are currently sourcing qualified Maintenance Technicians on behalf of a our client, an industrial manufacturing company serving engineered products and industrial equipment markets. The client is seeking a skilled technician to perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on presses, shears, winders, cutters, CNC machinery, and other plant equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems; repair or replace defective parts.
Assist with minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, welding, and millwright tasks as needed.
Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
Follow safety procedures and report defective materials, faulty equipment, or unusual conditions.
Support machine fabrication, assembly, and equipment restoration projects as required.
Qualifications
1-year technical certificate or 3ā5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
Strong mechanical, electrical, welding, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
Experience with CNC machinery, lathes, surface grinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotary/linear encoders.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation.
Physical & Work Environment
Frequent standing, climbing, reaching, and use of hands; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with heavier loads.
Work performed in an industrial plant/warehouse environment with machinery, noise, and moderate exposure to fumes and temperature fluctuations.
