Machine Operator I – Electronics Manufacturing | 2nd Shift

Meador Staffing, an Openwork Company, is hiring a Machine Operator I for a leading electronics manufacturing company in Webster, TX! This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow their experience in electronics manufacturing and production in a clean, fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay:

$18.00 – $20.00/hour

Position Type:

Temp-to-Hire after 720 hours

Job Summary

The Machine Operator I plays an important role in the manufacturing process by operating and monitoring automated machinery used in the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems. This position works under the guidance of experienced operators and team leads and is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures, and specifications

  • Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automatic solder paste stencil machines

  • Monitor machinery during operation to ensure smooth production flow

  • Identify quality, material, or process issues and communicate with appropriate personnel

  • Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and production equipment

  • Maintain clean and organized workstations and machinery

  • Assist with production line changeovers

  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records

  • Identify electronic components and part numbers using cross-reference tools

  • Recognize component markings, values, and specifications

  • Follow ESD and company safety procedures at all times

  • Support additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous electronics manufacturing experience is a plus

  • Ability to operate entry-level manufacturing equipment such as selective solder, wave feeder load, and Axial/Radial machines

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control awareness

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Knowledge of IPC-610 standards is a plus

  • Willingness to obtain certifications on assigned equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
