Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Machine Operator / Fabricator for a well-established manufacturing company located in Kyle, Texas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for cutting pipes with a band saw, and taking accurate measurements to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, highly safety-conscious, and takes pride in producing quality work.

As a Machine Operator / Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for:

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery

• Cutting pipes and fabricating metal components using band saws and other tools

• Measuring materials and finished parts accurately to meet specifications

• Performing routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment

• Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to prevent downtime

• Ensuring products meet quality and production standards

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Following all safety procedures and company policies

What you’ll need:

• Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment preferred

• Ability to operate machinery and band saws safely and accurately

• Strong ability to measure materials and parts accurately

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Highly safety-conscious and follows strict safety protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be reliable and able to maintain a consistent schedule

• Ability to pass a drug test

Schedule & Pay:

• Pay: 1st shift: $19/hour and 2nd shift: 19.50/hour

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
