Location: Denton, TX
Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 Midnight
About the Role:
Openwork is hiring Machine Operators to join a well-established industrial manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This facility specializes in producing wood reels and packaging materials used in cable and wire transportation. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor wood-processing and reel assembly machinery
- Set up machines according to product specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and report issues to the maintenance team
- Work with wood materials, including cutting, assembling, and inspecting components
- Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all company safety and production protocols
Requirements:
- Must complete a background check
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is a plus
- Must have or be willing to purchase steel toe boots
- Comfortable working around machinery and in a physical, hands-on role
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
