Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Machine Operator to join our team, specializing in the operation of rotary engraving and embroidery machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality engraved and embroidered products, maintaining equipment, and ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor rotary engraving and embroidery machines according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, design files, and instructions to ensure correct setup and production.
- Load materials, threads, and tools into machines and adjust settings for optimal results.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating rotary engraving and/or embroidery machines preferred (training available for the right candidate).
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and design files.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic mechanical skills for adjusting and maintaining machines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs as needed.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
