Chemical / Textile Operator
Location: Huntersville, NC
Pay: $19.00/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Openwork is hiring Chemical & Textile Operators for our customer in Huntersville, NC. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.
Operators will work with textile materials and composite products, helping support production processes while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves handling fiberglass composite materials and working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment used in textile and composite manufacturing
- Handle and process fiberglass composite materials according to production requirements
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor production runs
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production guidelines
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support team production goals and daily manufacturing operations
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Experience in textiles, composites, chemical processing, or industrial production is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Ability to work with fiberglass composite materials and wear required PPE
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
