Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find dependable Machine Operators in Griffin, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment used in the manufacturing of high-voltage electrical power connectors and substation components for utility companies across the United States. Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment to meet daily production goals
Setting up machines and making basic adjustments to ensure efficient operation
Loading raw materials into machines and removing finished products
Monitoring machine performance and identifying equipment issues
Performing routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Completing production reports and maintaining accurate documentation
Assisting with basic troubleshooting and preventive machine maintenance
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures
What you'll need:
Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred but not required—we're willing to train motivated candidates
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production equipment
Ability to read work instructions and production specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
