In a Machine Operator job, you’ll be responsible for:
- Loading and feeding raw materials into production machinery by manually dumping heavy bags to maintain a continuous workflow.
- Monitoring machine performance to ensure materials are processing correctly and reporting any jams or inconsistencies to the supervisor.
- Performing quality checks on raw materials before they enter the machine to ensure no contaminants or damaged goods are introduced.
- Adhering to strict safety protocols, including the use of proper lifting techniques and PPE, to ensure a safe environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintaining a clean workspace by clearing away empty bags, debris, and spills to prevent hazards on the production floor.
- Collaborating with the production team to meet daily output goals and ensuring the line never runs dry.
- Documenting material usage and assisting with basic inventory tracking as bags are depleted.
What you’ll need:
- Physical stamina and strength to frequently lift and maneuver bags of raw material weighing up to 50 lbs throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the correct materials are being loaded according to the production schedule.
- Reliability and punctuality to support a consistent 4-day work week schedule.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to understand machine operation and recognize when the equipment isn't running at peak efficiency.
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of a long-format shift in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with floor leads and fellow operators.

Shift: 1st shift: 6:00am – 7:00pm, Monday – Thursday (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)
Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00 per hour
