Openwork is assisting a firearm manufacturing company located in Smyrna GA seek machine operators. Shift is 10 PM to 6 AM. Pay is $17.72 per hour (starting at this rate for training- offered $19.72 when moved to 3rd shift).  Please apply if you meet the below qualifications are are interested in this machine operator position.  

General Purpose:
General Purpose:
Performs a variety of manual operates machinery related to surface finishing.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
• Responsible for the daily production of surface finishing of slides and barrels following the standard operating procedures
(working instructions) to achieve company quality and production goals.
• Utilizes hand-tools such as files and de-burring tools to achieve set specifications.
• Performs quality inspections making visual checks to assure compliance with specifications; examines parts for surface
defects and damage.
• Performs quality control using custom measuring equipment.
• Immediately reports errors in production and performance to Manufacturing Supervisor / Machine Adjuster.
• Operates manual and semiautomatic machines.
• Maintains work station by cleaning equipment and work area with appropriate materials.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
No previous training required. On-the-job training is provided
Must have the ability to meet daily production goals.

Experience with hand-tools
Ability to pay close attention to details.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to perform shift work.
