In this stable and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining traditional (manual) machining equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment with a company that values quality craftsmanship and employee growth. In a Machine Machinist job you’ll be responsible for:

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring standard, non-CNC machines including vertical mills, lathes, and surface grinders
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Performing precision machining using micrometers, gauge blocks, indicators, and other measurement tools
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet strict quality and dimensional specifications
• Maintaining equipment, performing basic troubleshooting, and supporting shop safety and housekeeping standards

What you’ll need:

• 2 to 6 years of experience in a traditional machine shop
• Trade School or Military machining training preferred
• Experience with non-CNC vertical mills, lathes, and surface grinders is required
• Basic machinist tools (micrometers, gauge blocks, indicators, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand and work for an 8-hour shift
• Bonus (not required): welding, heat treating, basic industrial mechanic skills, electrical experience
