Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Logistics and Production Manager in Duluth, GA for a leading manufacturing company. This role will oversee production planning, logistics, warehouse operations, SAP reporting, inventory control, and team leadership.
In this Logistics and Production Manager role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing production plans and schedules
- Managing daily production, shipping, and warehouse operations
- Leading and mentoring production and shipping team members
- Overseeing inventory control, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and warehouse layout
- Using SAP to manage stock movements, production flow, sales orders, purchasing needs, and reporting
- Analyzing KPIs including inventory turnover, schedules, safety stock, and freight costs
- Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, internal departments, and international manufacturing teams
- Creating and managing reports related to sales, inventory, production, and customer demand
- Improving logistics, shipping, and production processes through SAP tools
What we’re looking for:
- SAP experience required
- Stock management and administration experience
- 3–5 years of management experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in production, logistics, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain environments
