Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a DIRECT HIREa Loan Officer in the Hobby area (77075) that is eager to work. This role is ideal for someone who is a bilingual and is a practiced in the FULL CYCLE loan process.
As a Loan Officer you’ll be responsible for:
Deliver exceptional member service aligned with the Credit Union’s Value Proposition across all channels (in-person, phone, mail).
Handle member inquiries, account maintenance (open/close/update), and ensure accurate, timely follow-up.
Open and service deposit accounts, CDs, and IRAs, ensuring compliance with identification, screening, and regulatory requirements.
Support the loan process by gathering member information, pulling credit, preparing documentation, booking/funding loans, and answering lending inquiries.
Maintain accurate member records and utilize third-party systems for services such as debit cards, check orders, and account verification.
Promote products and services through outbound calls, cross-selling, and identifying lending opportunities to meet production goals.
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, support branch operations (including travel/Saturdays), and assist with team needs, training, and special projects.
What you’ll need:
Fluent in English and Spanish
Proven experience with FULL CYCLE loan process – open loan applications and close all the way through to funding.
Perks:
$20-21/hr
Incentive program
If you meet 80% of goal, you get an incentive. If you surpass that, the incentive increases.
Estimated incentive for a Standard-
Performing FSR would be ~$2,000 per month. The more you perform, the more you make!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with some Saturdays – rotating every three weeks.
M-F is 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Saturdays are 8:30AM to 2:00PM. (When working on Saturday, you get half day off the following week.)
