We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Lab Tech to join a growing team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on the calibration and repair of precision hand tools and measuring equipment, with training provided alongside an experienced technician for larger equipment calibrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibrate and repair hand tools such as micrometers, indicators, calipers, and related measuring devices
• Assist with onsite calibration of larger equipment including optical comparators, Mic Trac systems, and granite plates
• Inspect tools and equipment for accuracy and proper function
• Maintain accurate calibration records and follow procedures
• Support daily shop operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications:

• Previous calibration experience required
• Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Experience with pressure, temperature, or metrology equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Willingness to learn and train with senior technicians
