Kitchen & Bath Cabinet Designer
Location: McDonough, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $50,000 annually + 3% commission on closed deals
About the Role:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and personable Kitchen & Bath Cabinet Designer to join our team! This role involves working closely with homeowners to design and plan cabinetry layouts that are both functional and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will combine a strong sense of design with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for kitchen and bath cabinetry projects
- Assist clients in selecting cabinet styles, finishes, hardware, and coordinating materials such as flooring and countertops
- Take accurate measurements and prepare detailed design drawings and layouts for production and installation teams
- Provide pricing and proposals for cabinetry projects
- Follow up with clients throughout the design and installation process to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain organized records and project documentation
- Collaborate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Work to achieve and exceed sales goals through relationship-building and strong closing skills
Qualifications:
- Background in interior design, cabinet design, or a related field preferred
- Experience with custom and pre-fabricated cabinetry
- Working knowledge of how cabinetry, flooring, and appliances integrate within kitchen and bath spaces
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to close sales and deliver a high level of client satisfaction
- Proficiency in design or CAD software is a plus
