JUNIOR BUYER

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a motivated and driven Junior Buyer in Southeast Houston. In this supportive and career-launching role, you will be responsible for learning core procurement processes from the ground up and receiving hands-on training to build a long-term foundation in supply chain. In a Junior Buyer job you’ll be responsible for:

• Learning and executing company-specific procurement materials and operational processes.

• Assisting with daily purchasing activities, order placement, and tracking shipments.

• Maintaining accurate inventory and supplier records within the system.

• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials.

What you’ll need:

• Internship experience OR early career experience with highly transferable skills.

• A strong desire to learn; must be teachable, adaptable, and ready to be mentored.

• Good foundational proficiency in MS Excel.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent communication.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Pay: Full-time position with an annual salary ranging from $40,000 - $50,000 (depending on experience).

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, Fully On-Site
