Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Journeyman/Millwright position in Taylors, SC. As a Journeyman/Millwright, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and fixing industrial machinery. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Responsibilities for this Journeyman/Millwright job include:
- Machine setups and breakdowns
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and run PMs on machinery and equipment for repairs and upkeep
- Run milling machines, drill presses, manual lathes and surface grinders
- Maintain safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Welding experience
- Use of calipers and micrometers
- Basic math skills

Great 1st shift schedule working 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with weekends off paying $26-32/hr depending on experience.
