Janitorial Maintenance Technician (Bilingual Preferred)

Location: Northeast Houston Area
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Occasional Saturdays
Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Openwork is seeking a motivated and dependable Janitorial Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in the Northeast Houston area. This position plays a vital role in keeping the facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. What You’ll Do:

• Sweep, mop, and maintain all floors and walkways throughout the facility

• Clean and sanitize work areas, production zones, and equipment (including presses, lasers, and tables)

• Safely remove debris using mops, air tools, and other cleaning equipment

• Perform light painting and assist with general maintenance or special projects as needed

• Keep common areas organized and free of clutter for a safe working environment

• Empty and clean trash hoppers and bins throughout the building

• Assist with outdoor upkeep, including trash pickup, light landscaping, and organizing materials

• Communicate with operators and team members to ensure safe cleaning around machinery

• Support additional facility tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance roles preferred

• Comfortable working around industrial equipment

• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift

• Dependable, proactive, and committed to safety

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus
