IT Systems Administrator ā Manufacturing ? Webster, Tx ? Pay Range: $60,000 ā $80,000 ? Direct Hire We are partnering with an established manufacturing company in the Houston area. This is a fast-paced production environment where IT is essential to keeping systems running securely and efficiently. We are seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to support both on-premise and cloud systems, manage endpoints, maintain cybersecurity tools, and support network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and optimize virtualized server environments
Support enterprise email, collaboration tools, and productivity platforms
Manage endpoint protection, compliance, and remote administration
Monitor firewall, VPN, and secure remote access systems
Maintain structured wired and wireless network infrastructure
Oversee Active Directory, user access, and identity integrations (hybrid environment)
Perform basic SQL administration and backup support
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain system uptime
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Systems or Network Administration
Strong experience with virtualization and VM administration
Experience with endpoint management and cloud security platforms
Knowledge of hybrid Active Directory environments
Network management and segmentation experience (wired & wireless)
Experience supporting business productivity platforms
Comfortable supporting both IT and operational technology (OT) systems in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
Frequent walking within production environments
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
