Openwork is assisting a firearm manufacture in Smyrna, GA seek an inventory specilaist. The position is M-F from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and the pay rate is $20.10. 

General Purpose: Responsible for inventory control for all parts/items in all warehouse/storage locations. This position is an integral component of the Supply Chain Logistics department providing support with inventory control in a fast-pace and growing environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: • None Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Inventory Control • Use Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel to run daily, weekly, or monthly inventory reports and perform detailed analysis • Use Microsoft Dynamics AX and Excel to perform system adjustments as approved by Materials Supervisor • Use Microsoft Dynamics AX to transfer inventory when physical inventory moves to a different location or warehouse, or when consumed by production • Use Microsoft Dynamics AX to receive inbound product, including the verification of piece counts on packing slips as needed • Confirm all locations in the warehouse are properly named, numbered and labeled • Conduct daily cycle counts and report Mezzanine Weapon ID inventory to Materials Supervisor • Conduct weekly cycle counts and report stock levels for steel inventory, chemical inventory, ammunition inventory, and manufacturing raw materials inventory to Materials Supervisor • Perform monthly cycle counts for the employee uniform storage location • Support the E-Store and external warehouse with their monthly cycle counts as requested • Complete annual end of year (EOY) inventory audit under Materials Supervisor • Coordinate with Purchasing to fix KARDEX machinery/hardware issue • Investigate and correct discrepancies in report quantities and locations of all inventory • Track the location and transaction of missing Weapon ID and their on-going status

General Responsibility • Operate a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, and counting scale as needed • Takes precaution to protect warehouse content against loss • Ensures that all problems are properly reported to Materials Supervisor • Keeps track of boxes, tape, supply wrap and all other materials to ensure warehouse is properly stocked • Participate in projects under Materials Supervisor as needed • Support/pass along communication between Team Members and Materials Supervisor • Lead and perform EOY (end of year) inventory cycle count and report results to Materials Supervisor • Perform validation of received merchandise according to details from inbound documentation • Work with Assembly, Manufacturing and other departments supporting business objectives • 5S: Makes sure the work area is kept in a clean and safe manner • LEAN: Supports all LEAN activities in the Supply Chain Logistics, especially the sustainable execution and implementation of 5S principles (order and cleanliness) and continuous process improvements (stable processes) based on
KAIZEN principles to achieve highest quality standards • Ensures compliance with legal and company ordinances in his/her areas of responsibility
