Inventory Controller

Location: Conroe, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Inventory Controller to assist with restoring, organizing, and tracking surplus industrial parts. This position will involve cleaning and reconditioning parts, applying labels with the correct part numbers, and preparing items to be returned to inventory. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort through surplus industrial parts and identify items for reconditioning.

• Clean, sandblast, and repaint parts as needed.

• Label reconditioned parts with the correct part numbers.

• Organize and prepare finished parts for entry into inventory.

• Assist with counting, sorting, and tracking parts to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

• Follow instructions and established safety procedures when handling parts and using equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, or hands-on labor experience is a plus but not required.

• Willingness to learn cleaning, sandblasting, and painting procedures.

• Strong attention to detail when identifying and labeling parts.

• Dependable, motivated, and able to follow instructions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.

• Ability to lift and move parts as required.

• Comfortable performing hands-on work in an industrial shop environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial shop environment and involves hands-on work cleaning, reconditioning, labeling, and organizing surplus parts. Training on specific procedures and equipment will be provided as needed.
