Meador Staffing, an Openwork Company, has partnered with an Aerospace company in the Webster area is seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator. This role is ideal for candidates with strong industrial sewing experience and a passion for producing high-quality garments in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines and related equipment to produce aerospace garments to specification

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards

• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

• Track production output and report issues to supervisors

• Assist with training new team members as needed

Required Experience & Skills

• 5 years of industrial sewing experience (required)

• Experience with:

  • Straight Stitch (single & double needle)

  • Walking Foot

  • Bartack

  • Buttonhole

  • 3-Thread Rolled Hem Serger

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, production-driven environment

• Good communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus

• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Pay & Benefits

• $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Full-time, stable opportunity
