Job Description

Meador, an Openwork Company is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Mechanic. Located in Deer Park, this role is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial sewing equipment at our facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience with industrial sewing machines and the ability to keep production equipment operating efficiently. Experience with grommet-setting, cutting, and marking machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial sewing machines to ensure reliable operation.

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform adjustments, repairs, and routine preventative maintenance.

  • Identify equipment malfunctions and minimize production downtime.

  • Inspect machinery to ensure proper functionality, performance, and safety.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records as needed.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining grommet-setting, cutting, and marking machines, as applicable.

  • Support production operations by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.

Location: Deer Park, TX
Pay: DOE
Shift: 8am-5pm, M-F
