Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Canton, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our fast-paced corrugated manufacturing plant. Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and electrical/electronic skills. Must have knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, lubrication PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, 3 phase power, and schematics to achieve machine uptime metrics. Work positively with operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems and be engaged in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas. Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance
- Perform emergency maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs and installations as needed.
- Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records, CMMS, and other paperwork.
- Trouble-shoot and solve problems
- Alert management of needed parts and supplies.
- Following all safety rules and practices
- Perform continual improvement projects including but not limited to minor plumbing, painting, construction, fabrication, installation of lighting and other building maintenance operations.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/ GED
- 3 years’ work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in the corrugated box industry a plus
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting expertise
- Electrical knowledge
- Knowledge of industrial Safety Practices
The pay is $25-$35/hr depending on experience
