Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a DIRECT-HIREa HR Coordinator in the South Houston area (77087) that is eager to work. As an HR Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced, dynamic HR team, providing essential support in talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations. You’ll handle key administrative functions such as onboarding, benefits coordination, and maintain employee records while ensuring a seamless experience for both new hires and existing employees.
As an HR Coordinator you’ll be responsible for: • Assist with recruitment activities including screening resumes, interview scheduling, and communicating with candidates • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (new hire paperwork, orientations, exit documentation) • Review new hire paperwork and forms for completeness and accuracy and process accordingly • Assist in preparing and/or maintaining accurate applicant/employee information tracking and filing • Maintain level of confidentiality where required by policy and/or law (drug screen results, HIPPA restrictions, employee disciplinary actions, etc.) • Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications • Support with employee engagement initiatives • Handle general HR inquiries and escalate issues as appropriate • Track benefit status and update employee records once eligibility requirements are satisfied • Maintain employee file system (electronic and hard copy, where applicable) • Perform additional assignments as requested/needed
What you’ll need:
Minimum 2-3 years of practical human resources-related experience
Spanish required
