A local company seeking an HR Assistant to join their team in the Pasadena, TX area.
SUMMARY:
- Provides administrative support to HR Department.
- Answers main phone line and directs calls as needed.
- Greets and provides customer service to city employees and visitors; answers questions and inquiries.
- Interprets for Spanish-speaking employees and citizens.
- Makes mail runs, opens and distributes HR department mail.
- Filing.
- Assists new hires with new hire paperwork.
- Prepares handouts, presentations, and set-up for New Employee Orientation.
- Assist HR Generalists with contacting new hires to set-up pre-employment screenings.
- Assist HR Generalists with preparation of personnel Agenda for new hires.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous admin/ assistant experience
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Length: TEMP TO HIRE
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Schedule: m-f 8-5
