Openwork is currently hiring a dedicated EVS Technician on behalf of our confidential hospital client. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping healthcare facilities clean, safe, and fully stocked for patients, visitors, and medical staff. No prior hospital housekeeping experience is required—we are looking for reliable team players with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitize & Clean: Disinfect patient rooms, guest spaces, offices, restrooms, hallways, and food service areas (including floors, carpets, windows, and fixtures).

• Restock Facilities: Keep paper and plastic supplies fully stocked across all assigned areas.

• Logistics & Setup: Move furniture, supplies, and equipment; hang curtains; set up tables and chairs for auditorium and hall events.

• Safe Operations: Safely operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, carts, flatbeds) while wearing required PPE and following safety protocols for chemical and biohazard handling.

• Team Participation: Maintain compliance with safety standards, support interdepartmental needs, and attend departmental meetings.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to provide proof of up to date vaccinations 

• Experience: None required (entry-level).

• Certifications: None required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Physical Level: Medium physical work—lifting up to 50 lbs max, with frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.

• Daily Activity: Standard indoor work environment involving ~40% walking, 40% standing, and 20% sitting.
