Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Handyman for a well-established company located in East Austin, Texas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of hardware and fixtures used in daily operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Handyman, you’ll be responsible for:

• Installing a variety of hardware, including door closers, door keypads, cabinets, restroom fixtures, cabinet door hardware, grab bars, etc.

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to meet specifications

• Ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards

• Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time

• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

• Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with team members

• Performing other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in related work (required)

• Strong skills in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing hardware or fixtures

• Ability to follow instructions and read technical drawings or specifications

• Attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Knowledge of construction and safety practices

• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
